Hi Barry We will be offering the update to our current users at a nominal fee. When we offered the Windows version of Newport to our existing DOS Newport users we charged $20. I'm expecting a similar charge of $20-30 for our users when we release version 2 later this year. We will either email the new version or have it available for download. There will be a shipping fee if we have to snail mail a disk. We only send the book out to new users, and we've always credited $5 off the price of either the evaluation or the full program to anyone who already has Mr. Lichello's book and doesn't want another copy. I've put up some of the preliminary screen shots of version 2 on our web site (http://www.execpc.com/~newport). They are the same ones I presented in Las Vegas. We'll be contacting all of our users when version 2 is available, and we may be looking for some beta testers. If you or anyone else would like to test the program for us please send me a private message at mailto:newport@execpc.com. As always if you or anyone else have any suggestions for improvements you would like to see in version 2, now is the time to speak up. I'll do whatever I can to include them. Thanks for your questions. I'm sure other users were wondering the same and, as you know, I'm a lurker and don't speak up too often on the board.
