BHE reported a turnaround quarter. The interesting info for us ecmers is that the component problems are hurting rev and growth in the neighborhood of 5-7% they said. Also they think the tantalum capacitor problems will abate by Q4 and memory problems abate in first Q of 2001. This seems inline with what SLR has been saying. Their guidance is 2.3 bill in 2001 with upside depending on components. And 7.4 gross margin with upside depending on components. They are ramping and expanding many new programs in the high end computer and telecom area and have qualified with a new large telecom customer not LU. Anyway they are participating in the ECM growth they said based on their present customers many new programs, winning new customers especially from new outsourcing. Indicated that taking away business competitively from other ECMs not significant as relationships tend to stay put.( Patroller I think indicated this also) but there is plenty to go around I guess.
