I understand that during semi cycles, semi equipment is bought at highs and not bought on the lows. But regardless of the semi cycle, chips are getting faster and more complicated, almost at a constant rate. So wouldn't one expect the demand for new testing equipment to track with improving chip technology rather than chip supply?
