NEW YORK (CNN) -- You know Ann Cook's face, even if she hasn't looked the way you remember her since she was a baby. Cook, 70, is the original Gerber baby whose face is depicted on all Gerber products, including baby food. Now, the face that launched countless meals, is giving way to change.

Cook was in New York on Wednesday to help Gerber publicize its first label change in more than 40 years. But don't worry, Gerber baby fans -- Ann Cook's baby portrait will still be incorporated into the label's new look.

In 1928, a drawing of 4-month-old Ann Turner (her maiden name) won a contest to appear on the Gerber label. Cook is now a retired school teacher with four children and 10 grandchildren.
