DJ: EMLX release a hoax --11:10 am - By Michael Baron The Dow Jones News Service is reporting that an Emulex (EMLX: news, msgs) spokesperson has said that the press release saying the company would restate its earnings is a hoax. The press release, which was apparently issued through something called The Internet Wire via COMTEX, said Emulex would restate its earnings and that the CEO would leave due to an SEC investigation into its accounting practices. The shares remain halted at 55 35/64, down 50.9 percent.
