Even better, I understand WCOM ends up with 90+% of the voting shares of DIGX through ICIX. This could mean that WCOM does not need to buy the minority interest.

I also understand the DIGX board is on board. This last point was one that was an issue yesterday. Its positive result makes the deal a better one. One analyst speculates that the deal will prove to be accretive because of cap ex that WCOM had budgeted for data center investments can be saved.

"NOTE THAT WCOM ends up owning 54% of Digex and DIGEX turned down 8.5 BILLION!! Deal is starting to look better in my mind."
