Hi Tom and All...just finished putting in my first trades on the American Express Brokerage site. The transfer from Schwab for my ira went fairly smooth only two stocks didnt make it with the original sweep but should go today. I placed 10 gtc orders and two were executed today. It is a plain vanilla type site but easy to use. Not all the bells and whisles of Schwabs Velocity site but for no commissions I just added $ 120 dollars to the bottom line by making these trades at American Express. Thanks Bernie for your info on this site. I now have to read the past 100 messages to see what I have missed. If the ira acct at am exp works out I will probably move my main partnership acct later this year...bj
