In an affluent suburb, a homeowner responded to a knock on the door and found a homeless man. The man said, "I'm down on my luck. Do you have any work I can do to earn a few bucks?" The homeowner replied, "Yeah. I've been meaning to paint my porch. I'll give you $20 to do it." He gathered the paint and brushes and left them outside while he went back in.

Thirty minutes later he heard another knock. The homeless man said, "All done." The homeowner was surprised, expecting scraping, sanding, and painting to take three hours. He paid the $20 and as the homeless man left, he turned and said, "By the way pal. Your car isn't a Porch, it's a Mercedes."
