Best lawyer joke I know. Hope you haven't heard it.

There was a wealthy gentlemen whose three best friends were a doctor, a priest and a lawyer. This man was obsessed with his money and when he was on his death bed, he called his three friends in and told them.

"You know they say you can't take it with you, but I intend to. I have converted all of my wealth to cash and I have an envelope here for each of you with One Million Dollars in Cash. At my funeral, I have made arrangements so that the three of you will be the last to walk by my casket and I want each of you to drop your envelope in."

The three friends promised to do so and the gentlemen died shortly thereafter.

At his funeral each of the three friends placed an envelope in the casket. Later at the wake after a few drinks, the priest, his conscience bothering him, admitted that he took 25K out of the envelope for a home for orphaned children. The doctor was relieved when he heard this and he confessed that he had taken 50K out of the envelope for a clinic for poor people. They then looked at the lawyer, who said:

I'm shocked that you would not honor our friend's wishes and I want you to know that I put in a check for the whole amount.
