Hello all: Got a nice buy on TWE today. This one has been in an inactive AIM range for quite some time. Patience! Keith. Nice to see the archived 'JZGaltisms' again. They always prompt me to start using my brain. Thanks. Along those lines: I'm not a mathematician, but couldn't one simply fit a 'sum of squares' correlation line for a stock (maybe a curved one), then measure the standard deviation on the (converted to whole numbers) percent variance from the line? Maybe that's the way to get a stock's own 'beta'. I'll give it a whirl in Lotus if I get the chance. Later, Steve
