re: flies in horseshit:

There was obviously a problem with your technique. You need to compost it thoroughly before doing anything else. There are many web sites devoted to discussing the fine points of compost piles. The Information Age is a wonderful time to be alive. My wife's favorite site is one that specializes in red wiggler worms as the ideal manure-processers. Others recommend turning the pile daily (for those who really love their compost).

Here in Alaska, we don't get horseflies. We do, however, get mosquitoes, in size and quantities large enough to make caribou anemic.

I have no idea why WCOM went to 25. I have no idea why it is up, since bottoming. I have no idea if that was The bottom. I've reached the end of my rope, so I've tied a knot and am hanging on. No, the knot is not around my neck (that's LOF).
