Hi Tom: I agree. There's a big difference between 'Stability' and Beta. And, your sector screening idea is exactly what I had in mind. My intent is to diversify across some number of (hopefully counter cyclical) sectors. In that way I can always have AIM take advantage of the current sentiment out there. My question to the Great God of Mathematics < ;-} > was how to effectively measure AIM-ability using frequency and amplitude. I'm sure that VL's stability measure is probably just the ticket. Maybe I'll scoot down to the library and see if that supplement is in there. BTW, Who are those 5 retailers? In the Teen specialty area right now, the big players are HOTT, ANF, AEOS, PSUN, and of course GADZ. Southridge and/or Brookfield Square are the only 2 malls which probably have most of these guys.
