QUALCOMM sues Internet posters for disclosing confidential information. Message 14531848
dailynews.yahoo.com

I wish somebody from Globalstar would post MOU and number of subscribers to the Internet even if it is information which they are trying to keep for insiders [who can illegally trade on that information if it isn't available to other investors to the disadvantage of other investors].

There is no reason for the information to be kept secret [other than suspicious motivations]. If Globalstar wants to hide information, one needs to wonder why.

If QUALCOMM employees have illegally posted information [to no benefit of themselves] then it would be likely that Globalstar employees, or friends or relatives, would be tempted to trade on MOU information which is not publicly available.

Globalstar shareholders think there are somewhere between 14,000 and 50,000 subscribers. If there are in fact only 15,000, then that is a very valuable piece of information for an insider to know if they sell their stock to an outsider who guesses that there are 40,000 subscribers. The new owner will feel ill in a few weeks when the true facts are disclosed. Or very happy if there are in fact 40,000 and the low share price is due to FUD arising from ignorance about progress.

Not a good look Globalstar!
