Tom thanks for the welcome. As a follow up to my second question let me see if I understand how you combine your updates, checkups, and GTC orders. You do a weekly update of prices, depending on the investment a weekly or less often checkup and then make any changes in your pending GTCs that are indicated. When a GTC is actually executed you do nothing until the next regularly scheduled checkup after which you will place another GTC based on what's indicated. Do I have this correct? You mentioned you use a different time frame for the checkup for each individual investment - stocks more frequently than mutual funds. What are the criteria for determining the frequency? Volatility? Does the time frame change with market activity? Again, thank all of you on the board for sharing your insights, investment choices and techniques. It is great for us baby AIMers. Larry
