That is an interesting theory on Thursday/Friday. My models would certainly have said to buy in at the end of the day on Friday, assuming that such a big rise was likely to have some follow through.

But Friday did look like a bounce after a panic low, to me. 7+% on the NASDAQ was a bit much. I really don't know where we'll go short term -- my guess is that we won't see any major sustained rise before the election.

The mid-east situation is terrible, horrible, really. So sad to think of our sailors on that ship. I was on similar ships many times in the past.

I think if Bush is elected we will have a very nice November - January rise, as usual.
