Thanks Tom, your answer is very helpful. Another question that came up last night as I was trying to run some historical analysis on several stocks & funds. What time period do you use when doing a historical analysis to determine the suitability of a stock/fund for AIM? I tried 10 years because I expect to hold an investment for some time and I wanted to cover as wide a variety of market conditions as I could in this long bull market. However, all the stocks and funds I tried came up with Buy & Hold beating AIM. Thanks again. Larry
