Link Air's (and China's) LAS-CDMA is in the process of being converged with QCOM's CDMA2000 1x EV-DV Standard specification within 3GPP2.

Far from being a competitive threat to QCOM's Standard, LAS-CDMA will be integrated with, and become a part of, CDMA2000.

I can't imagine a closer alliance.
