Taking a look at the monthly on the compx moving back 5 years, compare this year to the back four.....wild swings,,,,the way i see it, we can test the recent highs over 5K as easily as going to 2K...
1997 was not a good fall, and yes the last two have been wonderful, but october appeared to be very strong months with this year bucking the trend., so hard to extrapolate...
over the last year, we've tested 3K range TWICE, with october/nov 1999 transition acting as the springboard...
we are at the point of to go or not to go with 3K very critical,,,at least wehn viewed from the monthly, and one could argue a lower high is in place.
Historically, this is the time to be involved from the long side...
