Thanks for the Clemens link. The antique DH rule will lead to more American League (read: Yankees) World Series wins, as Clemens can continue his punk pitching without fear of reprisal in the batters box himself. The DH rule and the lack of a salary cap makes baseball a running joke IMHO... Meanwhile I see Clemens is appealing his $50,000 fine for throwing the bat at Piazza. Anyone care to guess what his final fine will be post appeal? In a related story...God apologized to Mets fans today, explaining he intended for Piazza's broken bat to whack Clemens right between the eyes.
