William: The industrial production numbers came in lower than expected today... This is one of the FED's key indicators... We could very well get a change from inflation watch to neutral... That coupled a likely closure of the Florida counting by Friday or Saturday removes a lot of uncertainty from the market... Fund managers are likely to snap up heavily beaten down tech blue chips for some nice portfolio gains going into the year end... I'm still looking at NDX 3100 and SPX 1394 as green lights for sustainable rallies... There is an SPX gap in the 1360 area that could be filled on an intraday basis... bigcharts.com Be careful with those puts at this point... Jim
