I called IB (interactive) and the rep said IB is self-clearing. he said IB is a "division" of TH and did not clear thru TH. (clearly this is not the definitive ruling we were looking for :-) --- btw, if you send IB a check, they will credit you $3500 immediately (at least they did for mine). don't know why or if it's a percentage of what you send in.
