tx Patrick. I just found it odd that nowhere on the CME site do they say they stop trading certain globex instruments between 10-11CT. more specifically, all their 'trading hours' info does not say it. just another one of those mysteries of life i guess :-) --- oh btw, and fyi, not only does IB cancel all day orders prior to globex shutdown at 10CT, but they don't accept any new orders until globex restarts at 11CT --- btw, thanks again to Louis and Patrick for all the URL links to the app-based futures brokers. I reviewed them and a couple of them looked very promising.
