The amount of Issues is hard to figure , except the ones de-listed don't show up as a loss in the indexes.

I have a list of IPOs and they peaked just as the market topped.
The bonds issued also took a lot of money out of
the market, but splits put in a lot more shares.
Is there any where we could track the "float" of shares ?

Looks like we gap up today, uga we need a gap down , then
a sharp spike down then a rally all the same day; gap ups are not going to help anything in the longer term.

As for votes;
The whole election system needs an overhaul this mess
didn't have to happen to start with. With the event of
more parties coming on in the future a popular vote
isn't worth a crap, I've seen it miss-used right here in
my own county ( the local movers and shakers who are
a minority always run a shill or two with underhanded
funding to split the vote of any one they think might
change the status que )

I've been calling for run off
elections for years to block that loop hole but they
won't hear of it.
In other words in this county we get elected officials who don't have anything close to a majority ; some with as low as 35% of the votes. But if we had run off elections between the two top contenders most the crooks would at least
get thinned out.
Here in Brazoria TX , we have our decisions made
for us by a board of directors who live
in Michigan. ( DOW CHEM ) Dow has all the local politicians in their pocket and lets them steal all they can as long as
they don't mess with DOW. They control the water rights,
tax base , parks , garbage pick up and what roads we get or don't; if your not in Dows pocket you won't get elected.
