For those who like to look at graphs, here's a great bunch of P/E sector charts: yardeni.com (note: needs Acrobat reader to view) Thanks go to the Market Daily Directions thread poster who led me to this page. The MDD thread is full of gloomy posts right now. Many are saying the NASDAQ has been over-blown for years and needs to fall back to where it would have been with a compound average gain of about 10% per year for the last decade. I've not bothered to calculate what that would give us, and don't think I really want to know! :-) However, it's a sign that many are finally giving up their irrational exuberance, their exuberance and are trying to find what's rational.
