yep...the only way to know for sure. CSFB says BRCM overpaid too: "Keeping this in mind, as a point of valuation to investors that Broadcom just this week acquired VisionTech for almost the same valuation as CUBE’s current market cap. Yet the irony is that we feel CUBE has a superior integrated codec product (VisionTech only has an encoder that it glues with a licensed compression chip from GI, via BRCM) and market-leading solutions for DVD, STB, and satellite products."
