On this thread it's never happened that I can recall, so it bothered me more than it might elsewhere.

Plus, the reactions from two guys were negative in the sense that one of them even mused about quitting the thread/SI like Tom did. Now for all I know it may be my fault that Tom left, but I did not want to see it occur again. For about a year or two this thread was active and had a lot of good people posting. To see it try to start up again is well, I think, because there is little around about Futures. Sure, the thread gets off-topic a lot but at least it's a place to try to sort out concepts. It's not easy to do that most other places. This thread over here was started because I would discuss Futures on a Stock thread.

Subject 18350

As you can see by the header it was meant as a joke, but the idea behind the joke was that Trader X was tired of me discussing what he considered to be an off-topic issue, S&P. Eventually I, SE Nemer and a few others linked up with Tom and we turned to this thread in order to discuss SP and not bother others.

So I guess my point is that we are here to not bug anyone else, they should do the same in return.
