I've been posting to internet "newsgroups" for over 20 years and there are certain "netiquette" pet peeves of mine, not the least of which are drop-bys and shotgun postings. at least spammers are easily dismissed as long as they don't multiply. --- shotgun postings: posting the same post (usually a question for help) onto multiple threads w/o linking them together or providing a followup summary afterwards drop-bys also include those who are too lazy to research a question themselves, so posting a question for others to answer is the easy way for them.
