Hi Scot, Pat, Chip and everybody ...

I Switched from INTC puts to calls early afternoon today ..

This election stuff HAS an impact on this market ..

If there was any question about that the reaction of the futures after 4:45 today should end the question ..

The market does not like open questions .. like "who the heck is going to be the president of the US?"

Anyway .. Gore will stop his stuff and let go .. we have to be real close to that ..

Then we have the FOMC meeting .. rumors have started to flow about the fed at least shifting over to a nuetral bias and maybe even a softening of interest rates.

This leads to a rally .. at first from the election being over and then being taken over by pre FOMC run up.

While I'm riding the INTC horse up I'll be looking for another critter for the next move down. I'm thinking that it'll be a "sell the news" deal with the FOMC. At that time I may run with simple OEX puts ..

For What That's All Worth ..
