Sometime take a look at the day AG lowered interest rates unexpectedly. I don't recall the exact date, but it was late OCT 1998, perhaps OCT 27 or something like that. Anyway, look at the spike. Compare the large SP98Z to the mini ES98Z. The mini at one point was bid something like 9999.99, which means there were no bids. They eventually busted some trades then, but the top on the mini, if memory serves me was some 30 points or 40 points higher than the large. That is the disadvantage to electronic trading. You can literally be trading in a vaccum. There are no locals to make a market. Deadsville.

Scary at times.....
