Hi Bernie; I missed that variation....I did read the book entirely once, and parts more than that....so I guess what Mr. L. and you are saying is that if you have a sector that is in a prolonged bear market with no end in sight, a rational approach may be to cease putting more cash into the loser (act as though the cash reserve is zero)....but hold the loser as is, until or if the loser becomes a winner......but put the cash that you would have continued to put into the loser into another stock........hmmmmm...seems to make sense.

Thanks........I actually got to sell a few shares of the gold fund today at a 21% LIFO profit....its nits and gnats overall, but it feels good to make a profit on SOMETHING!
