Hi Tom: So carrying your thought further; maybe the total % (sum of resistance and minimum) could be managed basis the size of stock value. Like you say, if your minimum is 3% then maybe your resistance needs to be 17%, for a total of 20%. Or whatever. If your minimum is a fixed amount like $1000; then eventually it would become a smaller part of the sum. My starting point for most of my issues so far has been $10,000 initial investment, 5% resistance on both sides, and $1000 minimum trade. Therefore my total is 15%. However, once my portfolio control gets to 15,000, then my minimum becomes 6.67%. Should my resistance move up to 8.3% maintaining the 15% total?

Regards, Steve

ps: I'm glad for this discourse. These thoughts have been bothering me for some time. Weigh in everyone!
