Two very important milestones have recently been reached well ahead of schedule.
On Dec. 2, through its unique Web site www.carcostcanada.com, CCC sold its 4,000th membership, since going live in October, 1999. "We had projected to sell 3,000 memberships in calendar 2000," said Paul Timoteo. "Considering that we have spent very little on traditional advertising, hitting this milestone so quickly is very encouraging." Membership sales this year averaged just over 300 per month for the first 10 months of this year. In November, CCC sold 532 memberships. November was the best month ever and the first time that the 500 membership threshold was reached. "We had only projected to hit the 500-member milestone during the first quarter of 2001. This puts us way ahead of schedule," said Mr. Timoteo. |
