If you are invested in companies that you feel have good long term prospects, hang on... They'll bounce back... If you are invested in dot.coms that are running out of cash, you try and conserve cash by selling any rally... Most of the selling is done, so you should at least see what the FED does this month before you act... Some of the really beaten down stocks like Lucent, that have revenues and earnings, look like they have finally stopped falling... Since they led the charge to the downside, perhaps they'll lead the charge to the upside...

Pessimism is usually at its height right before a turnaround...
