Regarding some of the "hot ones":

Of that list I am long on ADSC. They provide service to the banks. Insiders hold 66% and the institutions 30%, which is 90% of the float. (The float is only 4.4 million). They have $2.63/share in cash with a current ratio of 9.6. Their revenues increased 17% in the last 6 months and they reported a gain vs. a previous loss. (Latest P/E is about 18)

I am not long on any of the others, but UHCP, which is an oil and gas exploration Co. with holdings in Texas and New Mexico looks interesting. They have a subsidiary that sells beef products to grocery stores and that is how they fund their oil explorations. Their revenues were lower for the last 6 months and they reported a loss of 5 cents/share. They are still selling at about 0.6 of book.
