Hi Mark, You can use the "Find A Buddy Wizard" and enter either email addresses or screen names and it will search their files. I've captured my list and can send it via email, also.

I think once we have a session and establish a "chat room" we may be able to add all the names from who's visiting the room to our own buddy list.

In the newest version of AOL's Instant Messaging, it's enabled for voice and file transfer, etc. Several people I know who have AOL as their main ISP still have very old versions of IM on their computers. I try to do some of the new stuff with them and their software doesn't support it. So, for those who have older AOL software, I'd suggest they go to AOL's home page and D/L the latest Instant Message version. It writes over the old IM but saves all the buddy lists. Also, the buddy lists are now "portable." Any computer you're on anywhere in the country that has the IM software can access your buddy list (it's stored on their server as well as on your own computer) once you tell it your screen name and password.

So, I can chat from my office, home, the public library or while on vacation if whomever I'm visiting has d/l'd the IM software.

Best regards, Tom
