To all, 652,000 shares traded at $39 at 12:17.

I immediately called MEMC and got the typical investor relations response, "all fundamentals remain the same. No analyst down grades or revisions on earnings". I must say, IR is the last place you will learn bad news. He didn't know who made the trade.

I asked if there was any doubt about Poly Silicon supply, or prices rises and he said NO. I asked if there were any customer cancelations and he said YES, but they were immediately filled by other customers.

So, I added shares today. I am nervous, but looks like the market could continue moving our way. They seem to be factoring no Fed change in interest rates into the bond market, and the dollar looks to remain strong.

Has anyone considered the impact of a strengthening dollar for MEMC? Of course, recent news says DRAM makers are planning to slowdown production. I suppose this is the basis of worry?

On the positive side, canceled orders will hopefully be replaced by higher prices since these older orders would have been placed when prices were lower. Is there a spot market for wafers?
