yeah,,, don't you just love it.. While everyone else is warning about 2001 MCLD is expecting a near 300% increase in EBITDA.. man, 1850 sales people, over 30,000 miles of fiber and the all new data network with the potential of reaching as many as 90% of the population of the US (long term) just re-read this passage, especially the last paragraph. If that can't make a believer out of a person.. Then they are looking at it all wrong.
The Company reported fourth quarter revenues of $410 million, an increase of 55 percent compared to revenues of $264 million for the same quarter of 1999. EBITDA was a positive $26.6 million in fourth quarter, despite the aforementioned acquisitions, compared to $15.1 million in third quarter 2000 and $24.0 million for fourth quarter 1999.
Commenting on fourth quarter results, Gray stated, "Our results for the final quarter of 2000 provide a solid foundation for the new year. In 2001 we expect to increment our telecom sales team nearly 50 percent to 1,850; expand our active fiber route miles by nearly 45 percent to over 31,000 miles; and make our One Functional Network operational by year end. We fully expect to grow total revenue by an additional 50 percent in 2001 and increase EBITDA by 270 percent over the year just completed. |
