Hi JF. I was beginning to wonder if during the "Quiet Company's" power nap, if this thread wasn't close to slipping into a comatose state. FWIW, my gut feel is that the 4th's quarter net will come in over $0.63/shr. I'm setting 2000 earnings between $2.00 and $2.10 with the bull's eye at $2.05. Back last Sept. I came across a story where a IBM process/tool engineer was quoted as saying that within a few years all semi-production equipment must be capable of remote vendor monitoring and suitable vendor response to any operating problems or IBM wouldn't be interested, period. Sounded to me that a GOLDLink like capability was required. It's been announced that GOLDLink will be applied to ATT's thermal control systems and I can't imagine that it won't be used with the refrigerators for superconducting filters. Happy to see your comment that this area may be "heating up". Looking forward to this Thursday's conference call at 10 AM. Does anyone have the number and access code? Regards....jtj
