CB, OK, I'll keep my feet on the floor. I don't know the reason for the dispensation of cowboy hats, but it comes in handy at times. For one thing, the high crown cushions the blow of a bottle, or chair, in a barroom brawl, but don't reckon you will allow any of that kind of entertainment. And, have you seen a cowhand that had been working out in the sun, and dust, all day long, when he takes off his hat. Looks kinda funny. The tan line looks really strange to a city slicker. Strangely enough, if I am wearing a tractor cap(slightly different from a baseball cap)I take it off inside. Some guys just mash em up and stick em in the hip pocket of their jeans, but that can get a little uncomfortable.
BTW, my hair may be gray as ashes, but I ain't got no bald spots!!
