This was a bought by, and bought by, and bought by situation. The last owner shut the mail down so small 2 e-mails shut down any retrieval of mail. Almost all their customers switched so I smelled a fishing trip. <<I assume you did notify them of cancellation, right? I'm sure you did.>> This was a pay in advance for service. The renewal said if not paid by the renewal date service would be cancelled. <<This is NUTS! I haven't seen this stunt yet; I'd best not. My return fire will be a nuke!>> California company. The notice said if not replied to in writing in 30 days it was an admission that I owed it. I replied instantly by registered mail saying I would be filing suit in Illinois about harassment, ruining my credit and for my lost e-mails on both the company and the agency. Wasn't long and I got a nice apology saying it was all a mistake.
