I go to Old Town Alexandria once in a while, the court is on King Street not too far from the Potomac. There are a lot of interesting shops but I never have time to go into them, and I always promise myself that "next time" I will.

DC traffic is legendary, it's very heavy most of the day and part of the night, and the traffic signs are a joke. If you don't know where you are going already you are going to get lost.
