Good Afternoon, coffee please, thanks coffee's perfect, must of been made early this morning, no sugar please, I'm sweet enough.
I read the thread this afternoon, interesting, New Orleans is tough on trucking, especially movers like me, cause the streets are so narrow, and the cable companies dont follow the 14' foot clearance general rule and hang low. And along with those real old trees making canopies over the street, one way streets and parked cars, its a real nightmare. You can tell who the company likes is where they send you, and hardly anyone likes New Orleans, I go there all the time (smile)
When its a residential area the help have to stand between the truck and trailer and use something non conductive like a broom and push the wires on the top of the trailer and drag them across. Naturally the whole neighborhood comes out and some are yelling, some help, most get their pencil and pad and write the license plate down just in case these wires get torn off.
I have done a few.
I like the cemetaries there, most of them on top, someday take a walk thru and visit. I love Canjun, Creole food.
Lousy market. I'm mostly cash except for my IRA's. Got any hot tips. My brother-in -law says last year everyone at his shop talked stocks now they went back what they did before- women and sports, or maybe thats synonymous. |
