All of our cats are strays as well....and the odd thing is, we acquired them all during the Thanksgiving Holidays each time! One is 8, one is 3 1/2 and the little one is about 15 months.

Even the Maine Coon was a stray. I believe the folks that lived behind us must have had one and when they moved I believe they left the cat. The Mom and one kitten were hit by cars and this one was lucky and found himself in the woods behind our house. Took 3 days to get him. Actually, my sister and I tried 2 days and the 3rd day I heard a tine meow. I went outside and he had crossed the road and was in Vendit's Van motor. We took several parts off to get to him.....took a socket wrench to finally get him out. Thus the name...Socket!!

Mine are also spayed, neutered and de-clawed. They stay inside to keep them safe!! I had one beauty that I use to let out for a few hours and her life ended in tragedy. I vowed to never let that happen again.
