Quahog, this reply is to your comment about just about everything having meat in it, but it's also weirdly appropriate given your name :)

I thought I was pretty savvy about food, but just recently was shocked to learn that almost all clam and fish chowder (the New England style, not the Manhattan style) has bacon in it!!! Aaack! How could I not have known that?
