Read the book "Diet for a New America" by John Robbins. He's the son of the founder of Baskin Robbins ice cream. If you want to be a vegetarian, it'll convince you. The book is not for the weak of heart or stomach. And it's not a diet book either. It just talks about the great american food machine. It'll make you sick, which is his intent.
