One of my uncles taught me to cinch up tight So did mine, after the fall. He also (he treated me like his own) slapped me around for driving a tractor straight up a hill instead of criss-crossing or diagonal. I could easily be killed because of the easy tendency of flipping over and the time a calf (range calf) turned quickly and kicked and feeling the woosh of hooves past my ears- lucky that dang little thing missed, Uncle Roy didn't. (I was told not to get that close and bend). I was lucky to still be alive after the end of that summer. If I was smarter it was because I survived.
