Vegetarians don't eat critters...fish, fowl or otherwise. I know that some people think they are vegetarians because they don't eat land-based mammals or some other story, but vegetarians don't eat animals. A vegan/vegetarian doesn't eat any animal products. A lacto/ovo/vegetarian will eat dairy and egg products. I've been a vegetarian since 1970.
