A. Agreed but only because of the scope.....Reducing meat consumption would only accommodate an ever growing population. This IMO is the real problem facing the planet.

Loss of habitat for wildlife, the polluting results of civilization and the enormous appetites for a better life cannot help but destroy the natural world.

Eventually we will be forced to make a choice we can go back to a spartan life style or reduce our population to something manageable....Our choice

Now we ain't goin back to the horse and buggy........A smaller world population eating a natural diet and living a comfortable life style is the only possible long term solution.It is my hope that we make this choice while there is something left to save

With regards to B .I do not agree that we are eating more meat than necessary or than the fossil record suggests. Our binocular vision and large brain are the evolutionary adaptations of a predator.The fossil record shows large amounts of charred bones in early humanoid settlements. Anthropologists believe that the need for hunting
skills was the driving force behind our development of a large brain.
