Hi Steve,
I think it all depend on what you do when you 'optimize' your activities. That phrase is very much like the notorious "it depends upon what the meaning of is is." When I read the various machinations applied to AIM all I can think of is market timing. People quite often come up with cute phrases to describe their behaviour.
Just a few minutes ago they were talking to the analyst Dan Niles on Squawk Box. They played a tape of him from a year ago today. He was talking about Cisco Systems. He was very self assured as he described CSCO as a stock that was about to hit 150. When Mark Haynes asked him what he missed, he answered "I may have been a little early on that one." He's probably right. There probably will be a day sometime in the future when CSCO hits 150. I don't think it will be this year or the next two. There were I'm sure lots of his customers who don't feel that he was a "little early", but that he was totally wrong. I just like to call a spade a spade.
Loooking forward to Vegas.
Bernie
