Hi Bernie, I was able to find one of Lichello's earlier books. The following comes from the last page and I thought it might be of interest to the group.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
ROBERT LICHELLO was born September 12, 1926 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, and graduated from high school there. After serving two and one-half years with the Air Transport Command in Japan, he attended West Virginia University where he majored in creative writing and was feature editor of the college humor magazine, Moonshine. At Radio Station WMMN in Fairmont, he was disc jockey of the "Turntable Terrace" program for five years; also did news announcing, wrote and produced programs and played Santa Claus. He came to New York in 1957, joining the staff of a New York newspaper as reporter and feature writer, and since then has been associate editor and editor of various men's magazines. Mr. Lichello has had more than 500 stories published in many national magazines and his articles have covered a wide variety of subjects including medicine, finance, theatre, sports.
